che in occsione del Contest Sardegna il
23 Maggio p.v. sara' attivo da
JN51XX.
Speriamo nella buona propagazione perche'
trattasi di uno square alquanto raro il
cui 99 percento e' costituito da acqua e
solo una piccolissima striscia di terreno.
Il call sara' probabilmente

(OCO67). Le operazioni saranno svolte

L'operatore mi ha confermato di disporre
di un FT920 nonche' di un lineare ma che
e' ancora sprovvisto dell'antenna.
Mi ha riferito, tuttavia, che
l'installera' nei prossimi 2-3 mesi.

Caro Sergio,
Sono stato molto fortunato a contattare
Sergio, AP2WAP (IZ6BRN) su 50.110 CW alle
0816z del 2 Maggio come ho scrito sulla
pagina degli Annunci dell'UKSMG in quel
giorno e come lui stesso ti scrisse. Il
tentativo e' stato fatto da Okinawa (PL36)
come JA1VOK/6 dal 30 Aprile al 2 Maggio,
ed è portato, come un risultato
della prova, al primo collegamento tra JA
eAP il 2 Maggio. Il segnale di Sergio era
molto debole, ma ebbe un lieve
miglioramento alle 0816z sufficiente per
un contatto con RST529-519.
Poi anche JR6HI e JS6CDB sono riusciti a
collegarlo con successo fino a che
0831z.
Il mio callsign è erroneamente
riportato come JA6VOK/1 da Sergio a te, ma
il callsign corretto e' JA1VOK/6. Lui
copiò perfettamente il mio segnale
ed era consapevole della mia prova.
Infatti, lui stesso mi spedì una
breve E-mail subito dopo il QSO.
Apprezzerei che tu correggessi il mio
callsign nel rapporto di Sergio nel tuo
bollettino "Six Italia".

Dear Sergio,
I was very lucky to contact with
Sergio, AP2WAP(IZ6BRN) on 50.110 CW at
0816z on May 2 as I reported in
Announcement of UKSMG on the day and as he
reported to you. I tried from Okinawa
(PL36) as JA1VOK/6 on April 30-May 2, and
developed the first JA-AP propagation on
May 2 as a result of the trial. Sergio's
signal was so weak, but he was a little
improved at 0816z for a successful contact
with RST529-519.
Then JR6HI and JS6CDB were also successful
until 0831z.
My callsign is errounously reported as
JA6VOK/1 by Sergio to you, but the
callsign should be corrected as JA1VOK/6
because he copied me correctly and was
aware of my trial. In fact, he shortly
later sent me the correct report by E-mail
after the QSO.
I appreciate if you correct my callsign of
Sergio's report in your "Six
Italiano".

Hello guys
I would like to tell you that finally I
was able to make QSOs with Japan.
After three weeks of daily skeds,
yesterday the JA guys were able to hear
me.
I had qso with : JA1VOK/6 - JR6HI -
JS6CDB
All Qsos around 8.16z on CW and the RST
was 519.
Tomorrow I will be leaving for CHINA and
hope to be back in 2 weeks.
Then I t will be time to turn the
antennas to Italy, let me know the exact
direction for your country.
