Today is the first time I enter this interesting 6 mtrs web page and found on it a lot of data and records of stations all around the world.Congratulations to IK0FTA and all the other guys for work they are doing on behalf of the radio amateurs of the world. Will spread the news to all my 6 mtrs friends here in Puerto Rico. By the way I want you all to know we have 4 grid square on our small island and are FK67,FK68,FK77 and FK78. Gud luck on working all the 4 grids. Best 73 es DX. Julio NP3CW Wed Jul 11 11:52:48 2007

PRELIMINARY RESULTS HH4/W3CMP 2007 6 Mtrs 750+ CONTACTS: 38dxcc, 4 CONTINENTS (na, sa, eu af) 60 Mtrs 42 CONTACTS 2 mtrs 3 CONTACTS: 2 eme- (KB8RQ, RN6BN), 1 CONTACT tropo/ms WP4G 3dxcc 20 mtrs 200+ CONTACTS I was QRV from evening of 6/18 until 17:00 utc 6/26. On 6 mtrs. I heard or worked Eu stations on 6/19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25 and 26. On 6/19, 24, 25 and 26 I heard or worked a single Eu station; biggest openings were 6/20 and 6/22. Worked about 170 Eu stations (still have to check dupes). In NA I worked as far west as W7 and VE7. I think I had first HH-EA6 and HH-HA contacts; there were probably a couple other firsts that I am not yet aware of. Power was supposed to go off every day at 19:00 until 22:00 utc; it varied every day for different reasons over which I had no control. A couple days it did not go off because of needs in mission's birthing center. Power did go off every evening at 03:00 utc until at least 12:00 utc the following morning (whenever worker assigned to turn it on decided to get up). Operating location was under a roof but in the open. It was either dusty or wet. Last 2 days I operated with my feet in water from huge rain the evening before. CW was hampered by fingers that stuck to keyer or slipped off because of sweat. Had to dry hands every couple of contacts. Keyer contacts had to be cleaned often because of accumulation of crud on them. Figured out how to access internet from a site remote from rig and was able to get on briefly on 2 days. If I ever go back I may have more regular internet access. Worked 2 stations on 2 mtr eme-firsts from HH. Also worked WP4G on tropo/meteors; probably another first on that band. During trip I caught a wicked cold (Haitian Hack); got a rash from clothes that were "washed" in river; got the trots (although not as bad as last year so I must be building up immunity); and lost 7 lbs. Equipment worked flawlessly; I heard very well. Still have to figure out a way to make up for lack of xmit power. 73 Chris Patterson W3CMP - Sun Jul 1 11:31:14 2007

The es season is started but, to the contrary than years ago, actually there are a lot of noise, qrn and qrm sources from electrical devices (switching power supply, HV transformer equipment etc); why do not share the proposal or solution about it? I'm trying the solve my problems with a phasing qrm reductor. Please give us Your ideas or proposal. Thanks 73. - Wed Jun 6 3:49:39 2007
