C6 - Bahamas - 5.1.14


Tim, AF1G, is now living and working on Andros Island. He has had the callsign/license AF1G/C6A since November 21st (2013) and will be there until November 20th, 2014. Activity is expected to be on 80-6 meters SSB. No QSNs have been reported yet. QSL via LoTW or direct to: Tim Hardy, PSC 1012 Box 593, FPO AA 34058-9998, USA.
 


C9 - Mozambique - 3.1.14

Operators John, ZS5J and Beth, 2W0VOW are QRV as C91J and C91B, respectively, from Ponta de Ouro until January 6. Activity is on 40 to 6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and other digital
modes.  QSL via operators' instructions.

 


FK - New Caledonia - 5.1.14

Yoshi, JE2EHP, will be active as FK/K1HP from New Caledonia between February 18-26th. Activity will be on all the HF bands

KH9 - Wake Island - 5.1.14


Bob, N7XR will be on air from Wake Is. as NH9/N7XR (or WH9/W1AW in ARRL Centennial).
He wrote: "Sometime during 2014, I'll operate from Wake Island on all bands - 160 through 6m. Operation will include Phone, CW and RTTY.
The dates are currently unknown because of scheduling; however, the trip will average approximately 3 weeks in duration. During the trip, the call WH9/W1AW will be used to commemorate the 100th year of the ARRL. WH9/W1AW will be used for only 1 week on the trip. VP2V - British Virgin Is.


A team of Polish operators will be active as VP2V/homecall from Anegada Island (NA-023) sometime late March (no specific
dates announced yet). Operators mentioned are Bogdan/SP2FUD, Kazik/SP6AXW, Leszek/SP6CIK, Janusz/SP9FIH and Robert/SP9WZS. Activity will be on 160-6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. VQ0 - Chagos Islands - 5.1.14

N7XR, Bob annunced an expedition in Chagos Islands as VQ9XR.
Bob wrote: "Twice during 2014, we'll operate from Diego Garcia as VQ9XR on all bands - 160 through 6m. Operation will include Phone, CW and RTTY. During the second trip, Mike Mraz/N6MZ will be coming along to help on all bands. We're might get lucky and have one of the resident shipboard operators there as well.
