ZR1EV Scrive:

Ciao a tutti,

Ascoltate i segnali molto deboli.

ZR1EV Write:

Hi all,
Most afternoons from about 1330 up to 1430 a variety of almost meteor-like bursts are being recieved on 50.110 here in JF96/95, coinciding with very good TE on 28 MHz.
I have a tape recorder running on 50.110 most of the time, and yesterday caught some really nice long snatches. Unfortunately no callsigns heard.
I BEAM North during this time, and I have good reason to believe that these signals are coming from Southern EU.
Conditions seem to peak round 1330 up to 1355 (UTC). Speaking to ZS6PJS and ZS6WB reveal that there is almost no sign of TE to ZS6 during these "openings" to ZS1 on the ZS6 end.
Scanning between 30 and 50 MHz on a scanning reciever produced very strong commercial 2-way and pagers in this range in what sounded like Italian.
All I have heard so far are bits and pieces like "QRZ QRZ this is...<fade>" , "....pse repeat my report again <fade>" etc etc. The stations have heavy accents (not english) and are very weak.
So please give some calls in our direction round these times. We would like very much to make the first EU to ZS1 contact for this cycle!! Listen for very weak signals. If sigs are weak, I can switch to 15 second MS procedures to complete a QSO.

vy 73 and hope to work U on SIX!
