D91RF & 3DA0 Activity by DL6DQW - Update

Reinhard, C91RF (DL6DQW) scrive: Ciao Sergio, sto per andare in qrt come c91rf almeno per questo anno. Oggi ho effettuato sui 6m circa 30 contatti tra cui LZ e S5; 2 paesi dxcc nuovi per me. Sono abbastanza deluso in generale per la propagazione avevo sperato in qualche cosa di più. Contatti in 6m dall'isola Mosambik sono stati possibili solo domenica ma ho potuto contattare 3 ON`s. ON4ANT giungeva con buon segnale sia in cw che in ssb. I problemi sull'Isola erano: Energia elettrica non disponibile dalle 02.00 UTC fino a che 16.00 UTe il sabato dalle 02.00 UTC fino alle 14.00 UTC di domenica!!!!! Così mi meraviglio di essere riuscito ad effettuare 1500 qso nello scarso tempo rimanente. Questo e' stato realmente un grande handicap per questa prima attivazione IOTA di tutti i tempi dall'Isola di Mozambik. Una vera sfortuna ma e' la vita. Andemo domani in Sud Africa e venerdi' saro nello Swaziland. E' mia intenzione prendere la licenza venerdi' stesso. Si vedra' 3da0 non e' cosi' raro come c9. Spero di sentirti dallo Swazi. Reinhard, C91RF (DL6DQW) write: Hi Sergio, made now qrt for c91rf at least for this year -hi. I had on 6 m today about 30 contacts. LZ and S5 were new dxcc`s for me. I'm in general disappointed abt. condx. Hoped for more. During the stay on Mosambik Island only on Sunday some 6m contacts were possible but with 3 ON`s . ON4ANT was outstanding loud in cw and ssb. Problem on the Island was: Electrical power was off from 02.00 UTC until 16.00 UTc on Saturday and 02.00 UTC until 14.00 UTC on Sunday!!!!! So I`m wondering to have finally realised 1500 rf contacts in the remaining night time. This was really a great handicap for this first time IOTA operation from Mozambik Island. It`s a pitty but it`s life. We'll go tomorrow to South Africa and Friday to Swazi. I intend to pick up the licence on Friday. Let`s see. 3da0 is not as rare as c9. Hope to hear you from Swazi.
