ON4ANT - Unusual
Propagation
|
Ciao,
Un breve resoconto su una insolito
propagazione
Lo scorso 24 Ottobre, la sera, mentre il
meridione d'Europa stava avendo la solita
TEP con AF e SA la banda si e' aperta con
me per ZS6 (che potrebbe essere TEP) ma
ascoltavo anche 5N41NDP con segnali del
fluttery tipici.
Inoltre JY9NX arrivava forte in
backscatter qtf 180 e per ultimo PP1CZ
sempre dallo stesso qtf.
Ci devone essre stati piu' tipi di
propagazioni multiple, backscatter,
sidescatter TEP e F2.
I valori della MUF in quel frangente non
erano molto alti per cui è un po'
misterioso come si e' effettuato questo
collegamento.
Dettaglio interessante una stazione a 15km
nord di me che usa una singola 2,5wl 9el
non ha sentito i ZS6.
Gia' avevo notato questo fenomeno in altre
occasioni durante deboli aperture/link con
l'europa meridionale.
Chiunque desiderasse provare puo'

Hello,
A short summary of some unusual
propgation.
Last evening October 24 th, while the
southern part of Europa was having the
regular TEP opening to AF and SA the band
opened up for me to ZS6 ( which could be
TEP) but I had 5N41NDP inas well, with
typical fluttery signs.
Furthermore JY9NX was strong in
backscatter qtf 180 and last but not least
PP1CZ at same qtf.
So there must have been multiple
propagations pats, backscatter,
sidescatter TEP and F2.
The MUF values at the time where not that
high, so it is a bit of a mystery how this
link happened.
Interesting details is that a station 15km
north of me running a single 2,5wl 9el did
not hear the ZS6 stations around.
I've witnessed this already on a few
occasions that a weak link is there to
southern europe.
I wonder if anyone has noticed FAI on 6m,
I know there is a FAI hotspot above the
alps.. could this be the link?
I'm sure that if it is FAI, there should
be regular QSO's possible.
Anyone wishing to try some tests can
always mail me at

Ciao amici DXers,
Dopo vari anni di inattivita', PT7BCN e'
ritornato in vita sulla banda dei 6 metri
sulla frequenza di 50.078 MHz.
La trasmissione e' sperimentale e rapporti
di ascolti sono benvenuti presso Mr.
Luc, PT7WA, at
Grande do Sul State (PY3)!
L'ultima notizia e' circa il CONTEST DX
MEETING che avra' luogo nella
'Praia do
Leste' nello Stato di Parana
(PY5) nel prossimo weekend, molto vicino
alla stazione mondiale Top VHF PY5CC.
Questo piacevole evento e' il piu' grande
del Brasile, ed e' promosso dal
Araucária DX Group, LABRE Parana
Amateur Radio Federation e dell'ARPA, il
Parana Amateur Radio Association. Il
Meeting ha un interessante programma per
l'evento, inclusa una visita alla stazione
