Salve a tutti Theo PA3HEN/M0HEN/OH5HZD/MM e' nuovamente inbarcato per i prossimi 3 mesi. E di nuovo in viaggio da Nord a Sud tipo OH/SM a EA/CT/I e puo' essere alcuni altri paesi. Il suo viaggio inizia a ROTTERDAM (Olanda) e da qui andra' mercoledi' a DORDRECHT sempre in Olanda dove scarichera' la nave. La destinazione successiva e' sconosciuta ma Theo pensa di lasciare Dordrecht venerdi' o sabato. la GB antenna ha realizzato una nuova antenna per Theo su un solo boom lui ha una 2el per i 6 metri e una 4el per i 2 metri e con parti smontabili di dimensioni tutte al di sotto di 1m pe runa agevole trasporto in aereo grazie alla GB antenna per la soluzione. Frequencze previste per il viaggio 6 metri 50160 con lo split tx 50160 rx 50165. Sui 2 metri 144.290 se ascoltate ES sui 2m nella sua direzione chiedetegli di fare QSY su questa gamma. He is again on the route North South so OH/SM to EA/CT/I and maybe some more. Continuiamo l'attivita' a dispetto della mancanza di energia elettrica e dei molti temporali tropicali con pioggie torrenziali. Qui smantelleremo tutta l'attrezzature domenica mattina 26.08 dopodiche' faremo una breve vacanza a Parakou e da qui proseguiremo per l'aereoporto di Cotonou il 29.08 per l'imbarco ed il rientro TKS for F5IPW infos. 73 Georges F8OP	They continue to be active in spite of power cuts and many tropical storms with torrential rains. Saro' nuovamente imbarcato per i prossimi mesi e spero di poter essere attivo sui 50 Mhz, e sulle HF, propagazione e lavoro permettendo. I dettagli e le aree di lavoro sono le seguenti:- Mi imbarchero' a Durban, Sud Africa il 17 August 2001. La nave salpera' da Durban il 21 Agosto 2001, e fara' rotta per le Seychelles. Arrivo a Victoria, Isola di Mahe, Seychelles il 30 Agosto 2001. Partenza da Victoria nella sera (locale) del 30 Agosto 2001. 1ma crociera :- Questa crociera consistera' in una serie di 12 aree di lavoro a partire da 65 gradi Est, o 67 gradi Est. E' previsto un periodo di ore per ogni area di lavoro, e di oltre 54 ore per 3 aree paritolari. Quese aree sono spaziate in modo eguale (180 miglia nautiche), e la prima area di lavoro e' a 600 miglia o a 2,5 giorni di mare al nord delle Seychelles. La crociera finira' a Muscat, Oman, il 29 Settembre 2001. 2nda Crociera :- I dettagli non sono ancora completi per questa crociera! Dovremmo salpare da Muscat circa il 3 Ottobre 2001, e l'area di operazioni dovrebbe essere tra nord est e est delle coste di Oman. La crociera e' programmata per terminare il 2 novembre. Andy, G0KZG write: August 6th 2001 Thank - you for your interest in my 50 Mhz operation aboard my ship the R.R.S. CHARLES DARWIN. I will again be on board the ship over the next few months, and hope to operate on 50Mhz, and HF, condx and work permitting. Details of the working areas are as follows :- Join ship in Durban, South Africa 17th August 2001. Ship sails from Durban on the 21st August 2001, and heads for Seychelles. Arrive Victoria, Mahe Island, Seychelles on 30th August 2001. Sail Victoria in the evening (local) 30th August 2001. 1st Cruise :- This cruise will consist of a series of 12 working areas along a south to north transect based on either 65 degrees East, or 67 degrees East. It is planned to spend 30 hours at each working site, and up to 54 hours at 3 selected working sites. The sites are equally spaced apart (180 nautical miles), and the first working site is 600 miles or 2.5 days sailing north of the Seychelles. The Cruise will end in Muscat, Oman, on the 29th September 2001. 2nd Cruise :- Details are not complete for this cruise! We will sail from Muscat on or about the 3rd October 2001, and the working area is thought to be north east and east of the coast of Oman. This cruise is scheduled to end on the 2nd November.
