Questa e' una DXpedition dedicata esclusivamente esclusivamente ai 50Mhz e verra' effettuata da un luogo molto alto. Speriamo di poterlo lavorare Io saro' alle Galapagos l'ultima settimana di marzo e la prima di aprile. Partecipero' al CQ WPX col team HC8N ma fuori del contest provero' a lavorare sui 50 MHz il piu' a lungo possibile. Forse potro' farlo come HC8/XE1KK, altrimenti usero' HC8N. He arrive the 23rd of March. This is a 50 MHz DXpedition exclusively and from a very high place. I hope we can work him. I will be in Galapagos the last week of March and the first of April. I will participate in CQ WPX with HC8N but oustide of the contest I will try to wrk 50 MHz as much as possible, and maybe I will be able to do this as HC8/XE1KK, if not I will use HC8N. Mi spiace per il ritardo nel rispondere, ma sono appena tornato a casa dalla mia nave. La mia nave, la CHARLES DARWIN e' una nave di ricercaa, ed abbiamo lavorato per una compagnia petrolifera ad ovest dell'Angola. Non portiamo alcun carico, solo scienziati! La mia QSL e' una fotografia della nave. La CHARLES DARWIN e', lunga 70 metri e larga 15, stazza 2556 tonnellate, questo vuol dire che e' piccola! Posso spedire le QSL sia via diretta che via bureau. Questa volta ci sara' un po' di ritardo con le cartoline, ne ho molte da stampare, normalmente spedisco tutte le qsl via bureau dopo un 1 mese del mio ritorno a casa. Ritornero' sulla mia nave il 6 maggio, a Fremantle, Australia. Poi partiremo il 9, per le Isole Seychelles. dove arriveremo il 30 di maggio. Da quel momento in poi e fino al 15 luglio saremo operativi nell'Oceano indiano tra le Seychelles e le Mauritius. Sono normalmente QRV sui 6m, ed ascolto i 50.110 tutto giorno, quando sono nel mio ufficio sulla nave. Sorry for the delay in replying, but I have only just arrived home from my ship. My ship, the CHARLES DARWIN is a Research Ship, and we have been working for an oil company west of Angola. We do not carry any cargo, just scientists! My QSL Card is a photo of the ship. The CHARLES DARWIN is 70 metres long by 15 metres width, displacement 2556 tonnes so we are only small! I can send QSL Cards out either direct or via the buro. There will be a delay this time with the cards, as I have some more being printed, but I normally send all my cards to the buro within 1 month of arriving home. I will be joining my ship again on the 6th May, in Fremantle, Australia. We sail on the 9th, for the Seychelles Islands. We will be arriving in the Seychelles on the 30th May. From then until the 15th July we will be working in the Indian Ocean, between Seychelles and Mauritius. I am normally QRV on 6m, and monitor 50.110 all day when I am in my office on the ship. Ivo, ZS6AXT, ci scrive per invitare le stazioni dell'Europa meridionale a prestare maggior attenzione alle chiamate che le stazioni del Sud Africa (ma anche dell'Africa in genere) rivolgono nell'intento di collegare stazioni del Nord Europa (o di altri continenti). Se durante i cq degli amici ZS ascolterete: "CQ North Europe" o in CW "CQ NE" per favore astenetevi dal rispondere lasciando ai nostri colleghi del Nord Europa qualche possibilità di effettuare dei buoni e rari collegamenti.	Ivo, ZS6AXT write us to invite south EU stations to pay more attention to the cq calls coming from South Africa, or from African stations in general,who are trying to look for northern Europe mates. If you hear a ZS calling "CQ Europe" or "CQ EU" on cw, please do not answer, and let the northern european fellows make some good contacts.
