ZL3TY - NEW ZEALAND

Bob, ZL3TY scrive a Stefano (I0WTD), il seguente messaggio:

Ciao Stefano

Forse mi avrebbe potuto aiutare lavorare in split ascoltando 1kHz sopra.

73 Bob ZL3TY

Bob, ZL3TY just wrote to Steve (I0WTD), the following message:

Hi Steve

These are the stations I worked in Italy

I6BQI, IK0FTA, I0WTD, IZ4BEZ, IK4IDF, IK5MEJ, IK4BHO, IK1EGC, I4CIL, IW1DIM, IK4CDJ, IK4FMT.

The first QSO at 0817, last at 0957. I can appreciate the difficulty at your end, at times I could hear many calling but they were weak and the QSB made it hard to pick them out. Then when I called one he often would not come back to me. That lead to several stations calling me several times, after I thought I had finished working them.

At this end I have no locals, I could hear ZL and VK stations at times but not strong.

Would it help if I worked split, listening up 1kHz perhaps. Maybe then the QRMing stations would be spread out more and off my frequency. I did not think to try that last night. I often work JA pileups but the JA ops only call when they can hear me and are probably better behaved than some of the EU ops.

Well Steve I hope we get some more good openings before the solar activity fades away.

Please pass on my thanks to all the guys I worked.
