Most Wanted 50Mc Squares

Negli scorsi anni il VHF-DX-Gruppe
DL-West, tutti con la rivista tedesca
"Funktelegramm" ha creato M(ost) W(anted)
144Mc S(quare) list. Gli scorsi anni fu
bello vedere che molti spedizionieri
vhf-dx hanno usato questa lista per
trovare un buono e ricercato square per le
loro spedizioni.
Quest'anno Alex, IW0GPN, con l'aiuto
del VHF-DX-Group DL-West, provera' a
realizzare una operazione simile per i 50
Mc.
Per favore date una occhiata alle
seguenti regole e spedite le vostre
informazioni al piu' presto possibile.
Raccoglieremo tutte le info dal 28
dicembre 2003 fino all'inizio di marzo
2004. Il 07.03.04 le vostre info debbono
essere qui! Alla fine del marzo 2004,
saremo in grado di diffondere i risultati
su Funktelegramm, Funkamateur, CQDL, PR e
le pagine internet, in questo modo tutti
avranno una buona opportunita' per trovare
uno square ricercato da attivare nelle
prossima stagione.

inquiry 2004:
Chiunque puo' inviare un elenco con
tutti gli squares che desidera
Naturalmente e' necessario che gli
sqares ricercati siano in Europa. In tutti
i casi gli squares debbono essere
raggiungibili dalla vostro QTH in Tropo,
ES o MS. (Non indicate squares in mare per
favore !)
Ecco un esempio di file input:
DL8EBW JO31NF scerca SQRs: IO79 ; IP
04,13,14 ; KO 47,67 ... (per favore
inviare la vostra lista in ordine
alfabetico e numerico).
In questo modo molti hanno trovato un
facile modo per avere la lista dei propri
most wonted Sqr. Se molti di voi
aderiranno all'iniziativa anche per i 50Mc
MWS, chiederemo a EA6VQ e ad altri
realizzatori di software di implementare
queste routines nei loro Logbooks....

In the past years the VHF-DX-Gruppe
DL-West, together with the german magazine
"Funktelegramm" created the M(ost)
W(anted) 144Mc S(quare) list. Past years
it was quite nice to see, that a lot of
vhf-dx-peditionaers have checked and used
these lists, for finding a good and wanted
square for their expeditions.
This year Alex, IW0GPN, with the help
of the VHF-DX-Group DL-West, will try to
setup a parallel inquiry for 50 Mc.
Please check the following rules and
send your infos as soon as possible. We
will collect the datas from 28 december
2003 to begin of march 2004. Latest at
07.03.04 your details have to be here! At
the end of march 2004, we will be able to
spread the results on Funktelegramm,
Funkamateur, CQDL, PR and Internet pages,
that everybody have a good chance to find
a recommend square to activate in the
coming season.
The (M)ost (W)anted 50 Mc (S)quares
inquiry 2004:
Everybody can once send in as many most
wanted squares as he want.
Of course it will be necessary that the
wanted squares have to be in Europe. In
every case, the square must be a reachable
area from his QTH on Tropo, ES or MS. (No
wet squares please !)
Here an example for the input file:

In between a lot of people did
recognize the easy way to get their own
most wanted Sqr-list. If there are enough
people will to be active also in the 50Mc

Sin dal loro arrivo sull'isola il team
ha completato 15.300 QSO's col call TO4E :
5.800 in SSB, 7.700 in CW, 1.800 in RTTY,
6 in 50 MHz (with
ZS), piu' 4.000 contatti
durante il CW CQ WW contest, come TO4WW.
F5JKK, Eric, spera che la banda dei 6
metri sara' presto apertta verso l'Europe,
Asia e USA.
Fin'ora essi hann energia elettrica
solo 5.15 ore al giorno e sono QRV solo
dalle 06.00 alle 07.00 e dalle15.30
alle19.45 utc.
Sperano di ottenere maggiore energia
elettrica nei prossimi giorni (info F5CQ,
loro stazione pilota).
F5NHJ e' sempre in ascolto sui 6 metri.
Ma nulla e' stato ascoltato da loro.
Il beacon e' attivo 24/24 su 50.096.

Since their arrival on the island, the
team has completed 15.300 QSO's with TO4E
call : 5.800 in SSB, 7.700 in CW, 1.800 in
RTTY, 6 on 50 MHz
(with ZS), plus 4.000 contacts
during the CW CQ WW contest, as TO4WW.
F5JKK, Eric, hopes the 6 meters band
will soon open towards Europe, Asia and
USA.
Just now, they only have electric power
5.15 hours each day and are only QRV from
06.00 to 07.00 and 15.30 to 19.45 utc.
They hope to have more energy available
in the coming days (info F5CQ, pilot
station).
F5NHJ is permanently listing the 6
meters. But absolutely nothing heard as
far as there.
The beacon is runing 24/24 on 50.096.
