Domenica (13) sera (21:10z) lavorato WP4O e altri KP4 via F2 , segnali molto forti (S9++). Durante la notte (00:00z) TEP con i Caraibi (YV, KP4, J3/W7GJ) e Es col Brasile (un sacco di PY2 e PY7, doppio salto di Es?)

Last Saturday (12) again good conditions via TEP with Caribe region, KP4 stations and worked J3/W7GJ. Es with Brasil and the west of Argentina LU_M stations and Chile.

Sunday (13)evening (21:10z) worked WP4O and other KP4 via F2 , very strong signal (S9++). At night (00:00z) TEP with Caribe (YV, KP4, J3/W7GJ) and Es with Brasil ( a lot of PY2 and PY7, double Es hop?)

10/2/00 23:00z EH8BPX , CT, PY7 e PY2 lavoravano LU/CX, hrd YV4 beacon, 48.250 EA video, 47.1 mhz La Polizia del Brasile giungeva forte e a 48.3 Mhz musica in FM dal Cile via Es. Oggi (11.2) alle 00:10 lavorato KP4EIT (6.000km) a 50.110 e a 144.300 segnali forti inentrambi le bande con soli 25 watts. KP4EIT ha lavorato un sacco di LU e CX su 144.300 ssb via TEP.

10/2/00 23:00z EH8BPX , CT, PY7 and PY2 working LU/CX, heard YV4 beacon, 48.250 EA video, 47.1 mhz Brazil Policie strong and 48.3 Mhz FM music from Chile via Es. Today (11.2) at 00:10 working KP4EIT (6.000km) in 50.110 and 144.300 with strong signal in both bands with only 25 watts. KP4EIT worked a lot of LUs and CX in 144.300 ssb via TEP.

Oggi Alle 01:00z hrd YV4 beacon, YVs lavorare LUs e KP4 con segnali bassi. Non sono stati ascoltati ne il beacon J3 ne J3/W7GJ

Alcuni giorni fa ho avuto un qso con Gabriele D3SAF in HF e gli ho chiesto se era attivo in 6 metri.
Mi ha risposto che l'antenna inviatagli da I3LLH era arrivata e contava di montarla entro qualche giorno, ma sabato 29/01 e' stato attaccato da alcuni guerriglieri che lo hanno derubato del TRX per i 50 MHz.
Sta in questo momento attendendo il nuovo Trx, e conta di essere attivo tra 25 giorni anche in 6 metri, giusto il tempo di ricevere il nuovo apparato e di montare l'antenna.

Chiunque volesse contribuire per la spesa del nuovo apparato contatti Enrico I3LLH.

In an HF qso ,made some days ago, I asked to D3SAF if he was active on 6.
He said that the 5 el. beam sended to him by I3LLH (his manager), is arrived, but he has had some problems in these days.
Saturday the 29th a group of warriors (I remember you that in D2 there is a war in act) had stolen him his new transceiver for six meters and at now he has only the antenna. Now he is waiting for a new radio from Italy and he hopes to be active on six within 25 days, the time to install the antenna and receive the new transceiver.

Anyone which want to send a contribute for the new radio equipment please send it to Enrico I3LLH.

Caro Arne,

In VK si e' verificato una propagazione attraverso il Pacifico senza precedenti con qrb di 14,000km ora teminata ma attiva per 3 mesi che ha permsso anche due new VK firsts [YN & HR] lavorati da me!

Io resto ottimista che il ciclo 23 sara' grande perche' ci sono tutti gli indicatori come nello stesso periodo del 1989 benche', attuamente, esso sia al disotto delle aspettative. Il ciclo solare e' forse un po' piu' basso come mostra la previsione della IPS Australia IPS che fornisce un indice "T" con picco nell'ottobre 2000 di 148 confrontato con i 162 del 1989.

Ma anche le stazioni hanno migliorato le loro condizioni operative!

Ho intenzione di recarmi a C21 con una yagi di 1 lambda & 1kw, ma se Ottobre\Novembre e' il periodo migliore per l'Europa esso e' molto incerto per i risultati con l'area del Pacifico ove e' meglio marzo.

Well in VK there has been uprecedented trans pacific 14,000km paths now off and on for 3 months, including two new VK firsts [YN & HR] worked by myself!

I remain optomistic that 23 will be big as all indications here for the same time in 1989 are up well above this time. The whole solar outcome maybe a little lower with Australias' IPS showing the "T" indices to peak in Oct 2000 at 148 compared to 162 in 1989.

Stations have improved greatly too.

I still intend to go to C21 with a 1wl yagi & 1kw pa 2001, but the October\Nov is best for EU but more uncertain for results than a March in the Pacific.

Qui i 6 meteri sono rimasti chiusi verso le Galapagos ma sono stati aperti verso USA e Caraibi.

Yesterday HC8/LU7DW Claudio and his wife has a strong pile up in 28.411,8 khz, all the evening. They have a beacon in 50.035 cw.

Here 6 meters was closed to Galapagos, and open to USA and Caribe.
