Ultime notizie prima della partenza.
Tutto e' aposto.
L'ultima riunione del gruppo ha avuto luogo la
scorsa settimana da Franck, F4AQJ.
I biglietti aerei, i passaporti e i visti e le
prenotazionie per l'hotel sono in nostro possesso
da molte settimane
Il materiale e' stato raccolto da ogni membro del
gruppo, F6KOP, dagli amici e specialmente da alcuni
nostri sponsors.
Tutto il materiale e' stato distribuito fra i
membri in modo da ridurre al minimo eventuali
limiti di peso eccedenti a quelli ammmessi al volo
per ogni partecipante.
Conferme :
Franck F5TVG e John F5VHQ partiranno per
Lomé, Togo, due giorni prima del resto del
gruppo per ritirare le licenze ed iniziare il set
up dell'attrezatura nell'hotel.
Il settaggio consiste nel verificare come le
stazioni funzionino cosi' che contatti da 5V7C
saranno possibili dal 4 Marzo (in serada) e il 5..
Il resto del gruppo ha appuntamenti a Parigi a,
Charles de Gaulle, aereoporto Roissy il 6 Marzo
alle 0900 UTC; partenza alle 1250 UTC
Due stazioni pilota hanno confermato sin'ora la
loro partecipazione :
Bruno, F5AGB, per l'Europe e i paesi francofoni.
Floyd, N5FG per l'America.
Una satzione pilota australiana e un giapponese
sono attese prima del prossimo venerdi'.
Il volo di ritorno e' previsto dall'aereoporto
di Lome il 13 Marzo, nella tarda serata (l'orario
sara' confermato in seguito) per cui i segnali di
5V7C potrebbero essere attivi fino alle 1200 UTC ed
anche dopo.

Last news before departure.
All is in order.
The last common meeting for the crew has been held
on last week end at Franck, F4AQJ's.
The flight tickets , the passports and visas and
the hotel reservations are in hand for several
weeks
The gear has been collected from each member,
F6KOP, friends and especially from some of our
sponsors.
All the gear has been dispached to each member to
be picked up in the limits of each one personnal
maxi weight, for the flight. .
Confirmed :
Franck F5TVG and John F5VHQ will plane to
Lomé, Togo, two days before the rest of the
crew to pick up the licences and begin to set up
the gear at the hotel.
The settling consists, too to check how the
stations operate, so some 5V7C contacts are
possible on March 4th (in the evening) and 5th..
The rest of the crew has rendez-vous at Paris,
Charles de Gaulle, Roissy airport on March 6th at
0900 UTC; boarding at 1250 UTC
Two pilot stations have confirmed yet their
participation :
Bruno, F5AGB, for Europe and french speaking
countries. Floyd, N5FG for America.
An australian and a japanese pilot station are
expected before next friday.
The return flight schedule is at Lome airport on
March 13th , late in the evening (time to be
confirmed) so there will be 5V7C signals on the air
up to 1200 UTC and even more.
