Ciao cari amici,
Sono felice dia nnunciare che il beacon
SV5SIX
e' on air!!! Dopo una serie di prove oggi,
per la prima volta, il beacon ha trasmesso
su 50.016
Khz il seguente messaggio:
SV5SIX beacon
LOC KM46CG Rhodes. La potenza
e' per il momento di 800 mW e l'antenna e'
unaa 5el Yagi diretta verso l'Europa.
Ringraziamenti speciali a G8SEQ
(John) per l'eccellente lavoro al TX,
e agli amici della Hong Kong DX
Association per il loro aiuto e per
aver donato il keyer per il beacon e per
l'interesse dimostrato, in generale, verso
l'instalazione del becon stesso.
Ora, l'unica cosa che rimane da fare e'
aggiornare la potenza portandola a circa
15-20 watts.

air!!! After lot of try today for first
time the beacon sends on 50.016 Khz the
following message:
SV5SIX beacon
LOC KM46CG Rhodes. The power
for the moment is 800 mW and the antenna
is a 5el Yagi beaming to Europe. Special
thanks to G8SEQ (John) for the
excellent job on TX, and the friends from
Hong Kong DX Association for their
help and donation of this beacon's keyer
and their general interest about beacon's
install.
Now the only thing we have to do is to
upgrade the power up to15-20 watts.

Ho appena ricevuto una lettera da Andr
HB9HLM.
Egli scrive: Lascero' Neuchtel il 6
di giugno. Impieghero' 36 ore di
viaggio da Ste a Casablanca. Il 9,
mettero' le antenne sul tetto.
Spero di
essere QRV di mattina del 10.
Le attezzature saranno: una centr-feed
dagli 80 ai 10 metri, un dipolo per i 6m e
una 9 el. fissa (nessun rotatore),
entrambe dirette verso l'Europa. Saro'
soprattutto 6m. Il ricetrasmettitore e' un
IC706 con 100 watt (80 a 6 metri). 120
watt su 144 Mhz, con un preamplificatore
da 20 dB. QRV per tropo ed ES.
Non accettero' sked: prima di tutto,
sono in ferie! Saro' QRV ogni mattina e
ogni sera su 144.300 e 50.110.
Il callsign e' CN2DX.
Lascero' Casablanca i 28 di giugno.
Spero in un grande pile-up sui 6m!

I just received a letter from Andr
HB9HLM.
He wrote: I will leave Neuchtel the
6 th of june. Then, 36 hours of travel
from Ste to Casablanca. The 9, I
will put the antennas on the roof.
I hope to be
QRV in the morning of the 10th.
The equipement will be: a center-feed 80
to 10 meters, a dipole on 6 and a fixed 9
el (no rotator), both beaming to Europe. I
will be mostly on 6. The transceiver is a
IC706 with 100 watts (80 to 6 meters). 120
watts on 144 Mhz , with a 20 dB
preamplifier. QRV tropo and ES.
Not any sked please : first at all, I
am in holidays ! I will be QRV every
mornings and every evenings on 144.300 and
50.110.
The callsign is CN2DX. I
will leave Casablanca the 28 th of june.
I hope a big pile-up on 6 !
